Perk Limit?
So, I just tried to have a game on Mori; Rebirth, but I found you can't have more than 8 Perks.

I got a free slot from the trials by the fountain, and a free perk too.

That plus the 5 default slots, and the Perk Slot you can get from the Key Pad.

I had 8...



...but then I grew and consumed a fruit, and did not receive a 9th Perk.


Is this a bug or a feature, if it's a bug, hopefully it can be fixed, if this a feature, it's dumb...

Looks like I'll throw on a Free Perkaholic mod for the time being.

*almost* beating the easter egg gives you all perks if you have 8

I know I'm about a year late on the response but the reason why the fruit didn't give you another perk slot (it did but keep reading) is because you only got two additional perk slots and the free perk took that slot. If you wanted 9 you'd have to get the free perk last so it doesn't take the perk slot you got from the plant. Say you used all 5 perk slots then received a free perk THAN got a free perk slot, you'd still only have 6 available slots and essentially gained nothing (unless you go down to switch out your 6th perk)
