When you load a savegame, the menu opens with your saved games, by default sorted by Last Modified.

Once you're in-game and you want to save, the save menu opens with the default sorted by Name.

All players should be keeping multiple saves of each game to protect against a corrupt save file and/or fallback version of the game. I typically play with 3 different saves per game. For instance, the city I'm working on right now has 3 save files:
-- LMOG - Kerrisdale Bay - Active
-- LMOG - Kerrisdale Bay - Backup
-- LMOG - Kerrisdale Bay - Fallback
The biggest issue is that I play several games at once...typically by season/environment (e.g., autumn, summer with beach, summer in the mountains, winter, etc.). So right now, I'm playing 3 different cities, with 3 saves each, so a total of 9 savegames.

It would be really nice not to have to switch the save menu sorting from Name to Last Modified after each first-load.
