A large omnivorous creature that is extremely well adapted. Looking like a mix of a snapping turtle, ankylosaur, and hippo, Susecdurus behaves within what one would expect for such an animal. Part of its adaptability is the fact it can be found in a wide variety of habitats: Forests, grasslands, mountains, swamps...the species can adapt to nearly any environment; even being semiaquatic and a competent swimmer. While being armored, it also boasts powerful jaws with sharp fangs, the bites of which can cause profuse bleeding. Interestingly enough, Susecdurus has been noticed to come in 9 different subspecies, all of which are found within the ARK network. These nine subspecies can be lumped into three basic groups: Normal Susecdurus, Hunter Susecdurus, and Juggernaut Susecdurus. These three groupings have been interbreeding for quite some time, leading to children who can be born with latent species traits unlike the parents. However, each subspecies shares the same traits as others in its grouping. Normal Susecdurus have no change. Hunters are lighter, faster, and deal more damage, but have weakened armor and carry capacity. Juggernauts are very slow, but have increased health, increased armor, and increased carry weight. If tamed, they can prove capable and have wide options as a mount, whether be in general use, combat, or utility.
