you configure a chance in percent, a minimum and maximum amount of money earned as bounty. if a player kills a zombie, the chance is rolled for a bounty, the bounty amount is rolled, the money is added to the cash pool they have "on their person".
paychecks work with hours each player spends ingame. you set the amount of hours and the amount of money gained. after that players get notifications about paychecks, go to a bank area or ATM (depending on sandbox settings) and convert the check to bank money.
there is also interest that can be applied in the same interval to the bank account money if enabled.
