to your question: i am not 100% sure what you are asking but i think i have an idea about it.
you have 3 different items that are worth different amounts in your currency. item 1 is worth 1, item 2 is worth 10 and item 3 is worth 100.
the economy in btse is set up as an itemless currency because items can easily be duped, on purpose or accidentally. that means to convert these items to a safer currency you need to set up an exchange for them at ATMs which is explained here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/2784972075/3767860527653716926/#c3767860527653718442
the 3 items would all get a value assigned (by you in your exchange configuration) for the primary currency, so they will not be 3 independent ones. users can then turn in these items at an ATM and would gain the digital currency by that. digital currency can be managed at ATMs. they can deposit and withdraw it. paying somebody is done via right click (needs to have withdrawn cash for that) and sending to another bank account is done at the ATM itself.
there are sandbox options for paychecks based on hours players spent playing, there are interest payments and there is an option for random zombie bounties. this economy system was made itemless because people on PA used to dupe whole duffel bags full of money items and go shopping with them. i suggest you move away from item based currency as fast as you can. stop distribution of the items, push for money stack exchanges and try to make do with the other options.
Certainly the money system with items is a problem, I always thought about it, because of the glitches, but I hadn't found any other alternative. Until you find it here. Thank you very much.
I have one question about the player item shop. I did some tests and other players were able to pick up items from the store instead of buying them. Am I making a mistake? Or is it just like that?
the default state of the machines, without a set user, will tell users "the machine is malfunctioning" or something like that and block them from taking things out.
there are cheat tools out there that block all btse code too, so these people will also be able to do as they please.
some people who modpacked btse also reported this to me because they kept the old btse_base mod and added btse_economy to their pirate pack later on. btse_economy was restructured to take advantage of a newer item transfer hook in btse_base. with them not updating btse_base that meant the items in the machines were free for all. always disheartening and a waste of my time to find out later that they packed it without consent.
(link removed because the mod has since been removed from that pack)
I don't want to have a MOD on Steam, it was a mistake for it to be public, it happened to be put on the server and when it came back it wasn't "unlisted" If you can delete the message above, no one, if not on my server, will find this MOD.
Sorry if I caused you any discomfort with this, it wasn't my intention.
everything you want can be done by including a config file, just like it is described in the linked article.
good luck with your endeavours.
