You begin the challenge at the beginning of summer. It's important to stay cool and not sweat too much, as this could lead to hyperthermia. You'll have time to seek shelter before winter, but not enough time to find heat sources and avoid hypothermia.

The climate in this world is harsh. It will make you suffer. Rainstorms are stronger, snowfalls heavier. The humidity will take over your body; stay dry or the consequences will be dire. Cloudy days will deprive you of sunlight. The nights are dark, very dark; you won't go anywhere without a flashlight. And if by any chance you hear a flock of crows and the dense fog gathers around you... I recommend you seek shelter and stay put until it clears, as even flashlights won't help. This fog affects zombies, making them stronger, faster, and smarter... and it also affects your vehicle, causing the engine to stall frequently, leaving you at the zombies' mercy. But if you're brave, you'll be rewarded; during the darkest nights, there's a chance that a full moon will grant you a boost of combat experience. Equip your flashlight and bring plenty of batteries, or use a hand-held rechargeable flashlight to take advantage of this boost.

There are many types of zombies: screamers, rotten zombies, acidic zombies, poisonous explosive zombies, radioactive zombies, skeletons, and some Tyrant-style bosses. Temperature, weather, wind, and other factors like the dark fog affect their abilities, causing them to be slower in sub-zero conditions in winter, with reduced hearing and vision in heavy rainstorms, and becoming super zombies in the dark fog.

Power and water will last for a very short time. You can use gasoline generators, solar panel batteries, or industrial generators to power your shelter; irrigation systems for your crops and use them in connection with pumps and water tanks connected by pipes. Or you can try to restore power and water to the entire county using the four facilities scattered around the map and some electronics expertise. Blackouts occur constantly and randomly, lasting for a time that will sometimes spoil your food if you don't have an external power source.

Your health, hygiene, nutrition, and emotional state are just as important as knowing how to kill zombies. The first thing you should do is wear masks around zombies, as the infection is also airborne. Stay clean, hydrated, and well-fed, or else you'll succumb to any illness. There are ways to avoid zombification and other diseases: one is to keep your antibodies high, and another is to find experimental drugs. When you acquire your first level of the First Aid skill, you'll see a new tab in your health window, "Knox Infection." Check it from time to time. The bandits... well, what can I say? Adjust their spawns and quantity as well as their equipment and appearance with the option in the main menu.

My first recommendation is to do right-click on everything; you'll discover you can interact with almost everything you find. Then I recommend using the Crafting Helper to find out what uses that item has in crafting or creating and what exactly you need. Press V near or inside a vehicle to reveal new options. Hold R while holding a firearm to open the radial menu.

In relation to the loot you can find, the variety of objects, the number of recipes you can learn, what vehicles there are and how to customize them, etc. etc. consult the page of the mod in question to know in detail what it introduces and how to use it, since some of them include their own mechanics and functions.

The maps in this collection are in harmony and there are no buildings cut off. However, some roads are not connected. I use the terrain tool included in the cheatmenu mod to connect them. Painting a functional road with this tool is quick and easy.
