If Zach would get a Poker Chip from that mod, it would offer the opposite as it's respective poker chip count (Say, if Zach grabs a green GC Poker Chip and gets 15 coins, he'll lose 15 chips and vice versa)
I see, perhaps try uninstalling and reinstalling the mod. If that doesn't work there's likely a mod conflict going on, lemme know what mods yr using and I'll see if I can find the source of the problem!
That's a super fun idea, I'll definitely put a synergy together for that item :)
As I don't usually use steam I don't know how to attach pictures to comments like this but here's picture proof of the issue aswell as a breakdown of what i found: https://imgur.com/a/7DgaLyR
If more details are needed I'll be glad to provide
Thank you for the report, I'm pretty sure I know what's causing that and I'll have a fix out for it tonight! So sorry if it hurt one of your runs :<
Edit: Fixed, thank you!!!
Also, it looks like if you have C section on Tainted Zach, you can take damage from your own light if an ennemy spawn while you're shooting (It happened 3 times in Challenge rooms, and once against Great Gideon, but it happened only once cause I tried not to shoot between rounds, so I guess shooting while the ennemy spawn is the issue)
There was already some bugs with C Section that makes you it yourself in Isaac vanilla so I think this is kind of the same bug
Right off the bat, all of the mechanics and items present are cool and interesting, good stuff. But, my main gripe comes from the main addition of the mod, Zach. Zach has a cool concept, but after playing him, I realized I don't think he's fun, especially after trying to do boss rush/hush with him. I think the biggest problem with him is he starts out underpowered, which is fine when you have a mechanic to compensate, which is something all underpowered vanilla characters have. But, Snake Eye's is a utility/gamble item, NOT a mechanic meant to compensate for lack of dps, and has a very high chance to LOWER it even more. Plus, even worse, he starts off with bad speed, which makes using a utility item not fun because you just end up backtracking. But I feel like his mechanic still very flawed ignoring his horrible stats, getting stat downs isn't fun, there's a reason pills are specific, optional, and not used as a center mechanic for any character. Tainted Zach is flawed in a slightly different way, he isn't bad, but he is lacking in something that really makes him feel like a tainted character. Plus, I'm not sure how I feel about the "forget to press spacebar button and instantly die" mechanic, I never died but I'm also extremely paranoid, I think that should probably be changed. But anyways, I think with some minor tweaking both Zach's as well as his actives can be extremely fun.
So, here's some suggestions:
1. Remove all stat change rolls and replace them with rolls that damage/heal you. I assure you literally everyone would rather be damaged, even if it's 2 hearts, rather than get a stat down.
2. Bump Zach's speed and damage back to normal, unless you plan on keeping all stat upgrade rolls and only removing the downgrades, which I think would be interesting because it'd give more of a drive to use Snake Eye's. Otherwise make the stat changes you see fit.
3. Add some more interesting rolls to Zach.
Examples: Decent stat upgrades/downgrades that deplete over time, all pills replace cards for the run, all cards replace pills for the rest of the run, spawn a friendly enemy, use the d7 on the current room, use the d12 on the current room, give a mapping effect, etc etc. I could put more but you get the picture.
4. Give T. Zach a little something extra.
5. bingus
So those are all my suggestions, I hope that you read it and respond!
