German voice, english text
So, in Gothic 1 I could copy the Speech vdf files from the german version and place them on the english one, getting the original voice acting with english subtitles.

Since this is an addon, could I do the same thing here without issues? I tried and it seems to be working fine with the beginning conversation, will there be problems later?

There should be no problems. But you don't need to copy anything:
1) switch your game to German, wait untill it is updated
2) launch the English version of this mod

Cool that works too thanks! Only issue with this method is that the videos also remain german, and those don't have subtitles.
