I get three massive freezes on this level at each staircase, depressingly this is killing the time but I've managed to get this one by looking at the ground for all 3, which slightly improves things. I will never be able to beat people who don't get it

Well played sir, maybe looking down for all the staircases is the way forward. I have to admit, I'm not sure I can fix it.
