Urban Expanses borked swimming?

Its very difficult to swim in a straight line - even if just holding the W key - as the character is always rotating around.

I have a feeling that it may have something to do with changes to swimming in the new update:
- Animation adjustment: The head now rotates towards the mouse cursor while aiming or swimming.
