For the past few years, I've been exclusively playing Warhammer with Tabletop Caps. I love this mod, it improves the game in so many aspects, and there's no going back to vanilla for me. I wanted to express my gratitude for keeping it up to date!

I just finished my first campaign in Pharaoh. The vibe is great, and the game is a lot better than it seems at first. However, as with every other Total War game, the late game is more or less "use the highest tier unit stacks or go home." I started wondering if it would be possible to implement some kind of caps system to other Total War games, perhaps tier-based. Since the player base is rather small, I thought maybe I could try doing it myself.

I've got literally zero experience in modding, though. I'm not asking for a solution handed to me on a platter, but could you suggest a place to start or what tools or learning resources I should look for? I'm thinking of modding just the caps, not other areas.
