Very curious but as someone who adores NPC Weapons, will you do more or take requests? Also, a random suggestion but could NPC loadouts be a thing (i.e a soldier can have a auto-shotgun but have a pistol .44 if his main weapon is discarded)? Otherwise, great mod.

No, sorry, i don't take any requests
If i was more advanced in gmod lua I would've known for sure if loadouts is a thing, but for now as far as i know NPCs can have only one weapon at a time, and you can't make them have any more weapons other than what they currently holding. If it was a thing, i guess i would've already made combines to use GTA IV grenades instead of HL2 ones.

Not sure if you're still taking suggestions or not, but would love to see these weapons be integrated with the default HL2 weapons, so they spawn alongside npcs without the need to hope the NPCs pick the weapons up.

you can do this by changing Weapon Override parameter through NPCs menu in left corner upon opening c-menu or spawn menu.

One note when it comes to the NPC weapons is that when the enemy is given a shotgun, they do not move close to their target in order to shoot so they end up just standing in place staring at the enemy.
I was wondering, can you just rely on lua files for the muzzleflash to show up or does the model itself need to have some sort of property for it too?

I got a private 80s themed NPC weapon pack (not using your base) that I've been trying to add muzzleflashes to.

as far as i remember there are two ways you can create muzzleflashes - through model properties (.qc file) and through lua code by creating particle effect on the gun itself.
last time i've looked into the lua code was in the april of this year, so honestly i don't remember much about it.
To be clear - if i remember correctly, ways to create muzzleflash i mentioned above are separate, and don't rely on each other to function properly.

I do not know how many people asked this, but is it possible to make these for players? I know there already is an addon but it does not have as many things as this one, and I would love to see them be made into player weapons.

actually there are already many people who've been asking for this, but one thing that no one realizes is that GTA IV didn't have a first person animations, which means that you either must do them from scratch, or must somehow extract janky GTA IV full-body anims and use them (in which case tbh even CSS animations with gta iv guns would be better option).
If it would've been easier then there would already have been someone, who'd have made them.
However, never say never.
Can you make replacing HL2 weapons with the GTA IV weapons an option?

I use the Total Replacer mod (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3106219095) for this exact purpose.
