Not a dream. It was definitely discussed. IIRC, it was having more modders joining the team and his ability to work on his own project as well that pulled him back. He can certainly correct me if I am wrong.
Handing SFO to someone else is not possible. We tried that for last 2 years, no one lasted. Mod is just too big to maintain. Modding is also very personal thing, someone would need to learn everything I was doing for last 5 years, not easy task. And full time job really.
I believe I already subscribe to the patreon but I hope that Patreon helps alleviate any financial and time based hardships. You are a Modding God and you are the whole reason this game is as big as it is!
This is so good to hear!
I guess the post about stepping down from SFO just meant developing less - maybe not adding new features and just maintaining it :)
how can we help u? I really love the mod, it makes the game whole
And personally that whole Whispers of the Eyeless kickstarter thing is so far from what I like to play, saying it's ♥♥♥♥ wouldn't even make sense because its probably not ♥♥♥♥, its just in another galaxy of what I find fun to do :)
so good luck on that hopefully you can make it work!
