could you possibly add the configurable option for negative traits/lost passions to occur on birthdays as well? I like more balance in my game, and some negative traits are fun to play with
if you wanna go a little further with it, whether they gain a negative/positive trait could depend on their mood during the past year for them, though I don't know how difficult that would be to program
