Brickworks
Okay I went here, I don't get it why not just edit the yearTo ?
Anyway, The whole brickworks file has all info for fuel_refinery.con and vice versa.
I had an issue where suddenly a town spawned under the brickworks factory! (while the streets from this town spawned close to another factory) I tried to delete this town and in one attempt I deleted the brick works afterwards I wanted to rebuild it but it wasn't on the list.

It's a technical issue with the way the base game is spawning industries, and compatibility with the pre 2022 Spring patch savegames.

The game will spawn all default industries at the year 1850, including fuel, and chemicals,... To prevent the base game from spawning mid-game industries, I interchanged some industries, so only early game industries spawn at game start in 1850.

Brick works stop being available from 1920-ish, when concrete appears on the map. Existing brick work plants remain operational.

question, can I just set yearTo to zero? for the industry bein available indefinitely? or isn;t that working anymore?

Setting YearTo outside the working windows should avoid it to spawn, but it it possible that 0 (zero) has another specific behaviour, I do not remember. Setting YearTo to 1799 seems to me more safe. It's a long time since I played TF2.

Thanks Yeol I really appreciate you taking the time to respond. I Hope you find the time in the future to play/mod TF2 again... You made it such a more enjoyable game to play.
