Report a translation problem
I think I used up strong whilst on a ceiling which instantly ko'd me but to response from strongs afterwards when on a wall/ceiling.
also somehow got Uspecial to go the opposite direction than what was inputed
for the strong thing, I loaded into emmi zone with emmi, jumped onto the bottom of the cube in the center did the input for up strong which then sent me into the bottom left blastzone and from there no strong inputs are registered whilst on a wall of somekind.
for the shinespark going the wrong direction I was able to save that in a replay and obs, forgot about the replay for the first thing though.
for the shinespark though I did the the same thing of loading into emmi zone with emmi, did dash attack into crouch to make em glow, then I did Nair into Uspecial with an up-right angle and went up-left into the blast zone.
I also encountered two other bugs with the character that occur outside of that stage. The first of which seems to be missing sprites, though I am unsure of what those missing sprites are. I saw the X things while getting bounced off a ceiling in a 4-way free for all with CPUs, I don't know if they're missing from impact there or missing from a wall tech. The second bug I don't know how I caused, but it was within similar circumstances to the first bug and on E.M.M.I. Zone. Apparently I got the character stuck on the ceiling and hit in such a way that it entered indefinite "falling," but was stuck in place. The CPUs could attack E.M.M.I. all they wanted, but it wouldn't move anywhere with knockback despite reaching around 500%. I'm not a programmer, so this is just a guess, but I think there was a misread code bit involving the "clinging to the wall/ceiling" state and something else, be it the faceplate breaking or the transition from falling off the wall/ceiling via empty meter into an aerial state.
Aside from these issues, this is a pretty well-made character and I enjoy playing it greatly. It's a wonderful introduction for me into the world of Rivals of Aether workshop characters
Edit: I discovered another small bug with the character. While messing around on the Tower of Heaven stage, E.M.M.I. would frequently have odd interactions with the walls and floor. Not only that, but somehow Shinespark teleported from around midscreen to over the edge on the side, causing an immediate death. Not sure how this was caused, but I thought I would report this.
Wow, didn't expect a response honestly, much less one so quickly. I'll keep an eye out for the updated character, because honestly this is one of the most fun things I've messed around with in terms of workshop characters so far. Good luck to you, coding is a difficult subject.
