STATS DISCUSSION THREAD
because they are handcuffs, maybe they would have something to do with slowing down or stunning? my idea:


:) on hit - stuns the enemy for 3 seconds (they can't move or attack like the old sandman stun)
:( -60% damage penalty


don't know if it's going to be over- or underpowered, i'm a guy that can modify existing stats very well, but not create new ones

2nd idea:
On Hit Enemy: Decreases their speed for a few seconds
-40% Damage penalty
^ could also work like a reverse disciplinary action where both players get slowed down

the recharge is a good addition, so you can't stunlock them. i was too distracted with my huge weapon ideas list that i completely forgot about it
would be cool if it tethered the enemy to you, so they don't get stunned but they can't get away for a few seconds, cause stun isn't fun to fight you know

it's about being fair. if you see a player with a stunlocking melee, you have the time to back up and react accordingly, however if you see a ball flying at you across the map, it probably have already hit you after your panic period ended

i mean i agree here, plus it would be easier to kill a stunlocker person if you see them coming after you only primarying the stunlocking weapon so just end them quite quickly with your sniper smg or whatever class with what weapon just dont do melee.

should be a secondary, causing no damage, but holding an enemy in place for 3 seconds or so

wait that would actually work so they just dont randomly switch to a random shotgun and end you.

On hit:
-Slows down enemy by 20% for 5 seconds
-prevents them from using any weapon for 5 seconds

-50% damage penalty
-10 second recharge
-10% movement speed when active

pros:
-66% speed reduction on enemy
reduction lasts for 10 secs
cons:
-40% damage reduction
-Can only mark one enemy at a time
Doesn't need to be overtly complex. Would be nice for tagging someone before blasting them to make sure they don't get away, but could be seen as op.
