guide to The Scientists' Office Part 2
This guide will explain how to solve the room step by step.

Intro:
The player begins where they left off in the last part, walking through a secret entrance that closes behind them. Moving forward the player finds an elevator with a note detailing the main objective: Discover how to create the second serum to burn away the gate that blocks your path. The gate that blocks the path is covered with an inflammable substance that can only be removed using the second serum. The candlestick on the table will be used for later. The serum requires three ingredient bottles labeled with shapes. Find the bottles and create the second serum.

First Objective:
The first bottle is found in the meeting room off to the left of the first room. check around the room for a key to access the meeting room. the key is placed behind something, check the shelves.
1. the case is locked with a padlock, there must be a combination somewhere.
2. check the drawers, one of them is bolted shut. Perhaps a tool can open it?
3. Look around the room, check the shelves, there must be something that can pry it open.
*4. A crowbar is found on top of one of the shelves
5. After prying it open, there are three cards. check their numbers, perhaps that's the combination
Solution: the cards in the drawer spell out 627, put that into the number lock on the suitcase. the ingredient bottle is inside.

Second Objective:
the second bottle is found in The starting room. The second bottle is meant to be created using the mixing apparatusTo Start, one must have opened the door to the meeting room from before.
1. The note on the table says that hints to the correct chemicals are located around the office. stated "Two are underneath something while one is behind something"
2. Two of the hints are located in the starting room.
*3. check to corners of the room for a hint, probably underneath something.
4. One of the books on the shelf (under the worldmap) is missing, perhaps look for it.
*5. Wasn't there a book in the meeting room?
6. the third hint is not in the first room. check the room off to the right.
*7. try looking underneath everything, starting near the desk.
8. Each hint can be deciphered by the drawing board. try matching the hints with the letters on the board and see what number it points to.
9. with each chemical found, put them in the apparatus and turn the lever.

Third Objective:
The third bottle is in the room off to the right where a skeleton sits on a couch.
1. the note next to the brewing station states that something might be missing to begin brewing. there is also a hand written note underneath "check under the couch"
2. A special vial is needed to begin brewing. The mathematician states that it is in his cabinet but its locked. Where's the key?
3. The hidden note says that it is in the meeting room. go there and look around.
*4. check the shelves for the key.
5. With the key located and the cabinet open, take the vial and begin brewing.
6. The note next to the brewing station has labels depicting which material is needed for the ingredient.
*7. The first, second, and fourth material go into the brewing station. after that, the ingredient will be completed.

Final Objective:
After uncovering all the ingredients, the player must put them all in the mixing apparatus and turn the vial to green. This will create the second serum. After the second serum is created, use it on the inflammable gate to remove the fireproof material. With the substance removed, use the candlestick to burn the gate down.

With the gate down, the player can proceed through the hallway, completing the room.
