How The Pegboard Works (made because it took me forever to figure out)
Turns out that for the pegboard to work you have to spawn the weapons on the pegboard for them to be stuck on (the AI will then grab the guns off the pegboard)

Thanks man. Also:

You can also PAUSE the game. While the game is paused you can do the following:
- Move the pegboard
- Rearrange the guns
- Move items on to the pegboard
- Remove items from the pegboard
- Delete the pegboard

The road signs (which dont work very well ATM) work in a similar way

Oh, to activate the feature where the pegboard automatically tries to recover dropped weapons, you need to add power to the board and make sure you have an AI chip installed.

Yeah, I know about the power and stuff but this was just made because the description shows how to power it, not how to put weapons on it
Also since you mentioned the signs, the hospital sign only seems to heal bruises and stuff, not bones (which would be nice because I've had the AI break each others backs a lot)

Yeah, I was wondering what we can do about it. I hate when they're crippled and stuck there. Which is why thought about the goofy mobile bed idea. Then I thought well if we have a bed, then should the sign also heal as much as the bed does? And some reason I thought no it shouldn't but now that I'm rethinking it, I think you're right, it should get them mobile again.

I'm actually almost ready with the utility packs and syringe support. So when we get the teams working, they will be able to pull a syringe from their pack and heal themselves or eachother to get them mobile again

Hey J, you got some good ideas... lemme ask you. You think its too focused on combat? Or is that a good thing? What if its possible that they could work together and take items you drop around them and start to build with it. Like build a structure? Im kinda talkn out my ass of course, but was just thinking, what if something clicked and it made sense how to pull that off would that be something cool? or would it be a waste of time working on that

I certainly think the mod is a bit too focused on combat. Them having houses in general would be nice. Normally I don't like using these guys on maps other than small because they get too spread out, them having bases they would tend to stay around would be cool. Maybe instead of them building houses, we could build houses for them.

Or maybe the player would be able to place sign telling the AI how many people the house should be able to fit and where the house should be. After the AI finish the house the sign would delete itself.
and for materials maybe they could chop down trees if you give them and axe or place down bricks if you spawn some

I was thinking more along the lines of they would use the resources provided as is. I wasn't considering them "pretending to break down" the material and then it would be able to prefab builds right? that would definitely simplify it, I dunno maybe actually you're on to something.

I get ya on the spread out. They have no kind of objective yet except I told them basically to wander around and if you're angry, then fight whoever you see. :) I think when theres say flag posts where you can define bases like what you're suggesting. and then their objective can be to protect and expand these bases in random ways. Then as a team go raid another base, and the player can interfere and manipulate whatever situations as they want.

And absolutely I think we should be able to design the houses and built it for them and they should for the most part be able to navigate around those bases/houses. And for structures with more than 1 floor, it will just have to be with some kind of tethering, or "elevator" method provided by this mod to allow them to nagivate floors properly

Honestly I think the simplest (and fastest for the player) way to have buildings is just prebuilt ones in the category that would basically just act as giant signs saying "this is a home"
then that same system could be used for other buldings
and maybe some of the bigger buildings would have an elevator, that would be cool
and of course you could put your own furniture in the home

Homes should have a roof that is what the mod part is with a chip and a need for a generator. The roof just resizes and tells the AIs "Under me is your home".
