Unique industries not getting needed raw materials
I've been running this mod for about two weeks now.

The police, fire, death care, and ambulance services seem to work fine.

The secondary industries (e.g. the ones that make metal, glass, plastic, paper, etc) seem to work fine as well. I have kept the agricultural, forestry, oil and mining industries located at a large distance from each other, but they all have their own railway stations and highways to be connected to each other.

The issue seems that the unique industries that require a variety of different raw materials constantly run out even with the warehouses having plenty of the needed material and spare trucks, even when the warehouses and those unique industries are in the same district: https://imgur.com/a/8mQXn5T

The only unique industries that aren't affected are the ones that are within the same district as all of the secondary industries, such as the plastics factory (which can easily be in the same district as all of the oil industries) or the furniture factory (in the same district as all of the forestry industries). It's stuff such as the shipyard or car industry that constantly fail.

I previously used the More Effective Transfer Manager, and it seemed that the issue was less frequent/severe with that mod.

I'm going to try the Transfer Manager CE v1.2.5 and see if the issue persists as well. If it is, well, I'm not sure what to do as I do not want to combine all of my industries into one giant district again (I have PTSD from dealing with the nightmare of a super industry district's internal traffic).

I've just published 0.2, which includes an overhaul of the warehouse prioritization mechanism, and also provides for reserving warehouse vehicles specifically for unique factories (all similar issues to the one you've described that I've seen are due to warehouse vehicles being all in-use and not available to service the factory requests in a timely manner).

It would be interesting to hear of your experience with the updated version, and see if things are now better for you.

Sweet, I'll give it a try!

I am using the updated version. I am seeing a LOT more industrial traffic than before. Free flowing areas are now traffic jams. I am also seeing transfers between two balanced warehouses. The warehouses are in the same district as the production and factories. I had warehouse boost at 3 and distance at 80.

Are you just leaving the warehouses with the default TC configuration? I haven't yet tried version 0.2 yet, but with 0.1 I found the best result when I put outbound restrictions in place on warehouses, even if in theory shouldn't have been necessary. I.E. if a unique factory is in area C, but requires inputs produced in areas A and B, I've found it helps to explicitly state a the industry in area A should only service area A, and a warehouse in area A should service area C. That had better results than leaving them at the "no restrictions" default, even though the restriction in theory shouldn't have been necessary. The warehouse to warehouse transfers are a problem with vanilla too. There's an easy way to stop that. Assuming you have two warehouses in area A, only allow one to supply area A, the other is only for industries outside of area A. If you couldn't have guessed I'm used to EDS, which runs almost exclusively on these formulas for what a warehouse is and is not allowed to supply, so that's where I first look to solve these types of problems.

Hello Friendly Fire, you can plop one of these near your unique factories,
Huge Grain Silo

Kokkonen Grain Silos

Or you must make a quicker route by train (than by road of visa versa) to your unique factories and sell directly from the large crop field to your unique factory.

I have had this problem too and have learned this work around. Take your cargo to a distribution center, silo or warehouse near your unique factory.
