From what I remember of my own messing about with the halfling stuff, ceiling v7 is setup like a wall rather than the usual for a piece of it's type. it gets tied to one wall socket and can only go one way or 180 the other way.

It does work though, hopefully that advise helps. Unless you are meaning some other alignment issue, in which case I am not sure.
