Some Ideas
First off: Love where this is going. your touching on things I really felt left the pokeworld mod really barebones. Now if only the art could get redone, It'd be perfect!
If im not stepping out of line, this was a post a handfull of things I thought of for the orignial mod that I'd suggested over there a few months ago :y

"Something I noticed that hasn't been touched upon much is: By the outlook of the mod, if you're looking to play exclusively through Pokémon, you lose out on a lot of features. Of course I know this mod is still taking baby steps, It does make it a bit difficult to play in this state with just Pokémon due to the lack of resources.

One thing I don't think this mod capitalized on enough yet is the absolute hilarity of eating Pokémon [or the extra sad result of having to eat your beloved meowth to survive a famine only to make it EXTRA gut wrenching when you get the little coin on its head] , something that we as consumers don't even have much rules on [the worlds your oyster!]

Things like:
Insect Pokémon dropping insect meat/shell when butchered
Plant-like Pokémon dropping some kind of Plant Meat.
Ghost Pokémon dropping nothing when butchered.
"Material" or steel type Pokémon [like geodude, voltorb, onyx] dropping steel.
Or
Milk/wool from Pokémon like Miltank and Mareep! [would give a reason other than appearance to want to give some Pokémon an everstone OR to evolve Pokémon to their producing higher evolutions]
Maybe even materials like Wood and Steel being able to be harvested from some kinds of Pokémon like the Seedot line or the Aron line/ Skarmory ect ect

[This part was more for my own fun, sitting back and actually wondering what you could get from each Pokémon]

Slowking > Slowking crown [possibly wearable?]
Pineco > Wood
Forretress > Steel
Shuckle > Shuckle shell [Don't shuckles make juice or something]
Miltank = Milk
Shroomish/Breloom >/= Raw Fungus/Mushroom
Sableye >/= Jade
Duskull > Skull [ideology]
Tropius = Bananas
Torterra > Torterra Shell and = Wood
Cherubi/Cherim > Berries"

Hi, sorry I just saw this (I don't get pinged when threads are posted). I think I might need to use a framework like 'Butcher Framework' to get things to butcher into non-meats, but I'd have to have a look at it. I already added Moomoo milk as a separate item. The animal products are certainly doable, although bananas aren't in the base game so I'd have to have that run when a relevant mod is enabled.

Having non organic pokemon butcher into steel or stone was an idea I had too, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I had an idea that I think fits with these suggestions, hope you don't mind me posting it here. Namely: dark-type pokemon should have 0% psychic sensitivity, making them immune to psycasts and other psychic phenomena. Poison-types and steel-types having low or no toxic sensitivity would also make sense.

I would love to see modded biome compatibility incorporated at some point!

oh hi (grumbles again about not getting pings when people post in threads)! yeah I'm open to do it at some point, depending on how much work it is. I'll look into it after the 1.6 update as I need to do things with the new Odyssey content and weather conditions when it comes out too.

btw OP - I would like to draw all the pokemon at some point but it's obviously a gargantuan task. I've considered starting out with requests. it'll be a fair ways down the line ofc
