First off, let me give you all some context.

You should all know that ARCCW is an In-Dev (still being developed) addon, and therefore that addon is prone to update, which sounds great in paper, but the latest update overhauled the attachment mechanism, adding more slots and changing/replacing/modifying the old ones, which sounds great at first, BUT sadly this was an entire attachment overhaul , therefore breaking most of the good ol' addons that are branches of ARCCW and require it as a dependency, and one of said mods that got affected was the good ol' FA:S2 in it's original release, and the dev of that one old ARCCW branch confirmed there that he abandoned that addon. (In fact it's been broken for almost 2 years already but GMod players don't know how to read.


Go unsub from that addon, it simply doesn't work properly anymore.

THIS WILL NOT FIX EVERY SINGLE ATTACHMENT but most of them should work properly, haven't really tested it other than with the universal attachments.

Then unsubscribe and subscribe again from THIS ONE addon (the one you're reading me on, this one, the one from this discussion kiddo!).


TBH, i am more than sure that the experience will be affected, as i think that original FA:S2 had just more content than this beta one, but for a quick fix, it's better than nothing. That and i am almost 90% sure that not all attachments work with this fix, but once again, it's better than nothing.

[EDIT] Forgot to mention, this fix also seems to work for every single ARCCW addon i'm using, and unsubbing and resubbing basically puts the actual addon in the top of mod order, so it kinda refreshes the files to have more priority, i guess? idk Steam mods work in mysterious ways.
