I think it would make more sense if dspecial in mid-air would make you fall faster, as if it was weighing him down. That could make it a cool spike move, too.

Very fun character with a high skill ceiling. I can imagine I'll be labbing for a little while. A suggestion I have is to make back air able to give you a wall-cling similar to Sylvanos, giving them more options to mix up their recovery.
feels like the dash attack hurts more than helps with the rolling causing an issue. the lack of momentum on tilts and the tiny up strong hit box makes it hard to stay in a good position.

Enjoying the character but I think he relies too much on his side special and dash attack's kill power and reliability, while his smash/strong attacks are as slow (or slower) and feel like they have much less Knockback growth.

-His forward strong is relatively weak and low ranged for how long it takes to startup,
-his upward strong is really hard to hit unless enemies willingly go infront and above samson
-His down strong is the only strong attack I'd consider using
-His dash attack is too strong for how easy it is to do and it covers a great distance

**the forward special section:tm:**

-His forward special is incredibly versatile.
-It can trap many oponents while doing it
-It goes on for a long time
-the final hitbox feels like it kills about as well as the forward strong except it actually has range
-it can be used to push the honey and drag an enemy into it, to then stun them with the honey... and do another forward special to seal the deal lol


-But his forward special also leaves him on free fall for no good reason, as it really only affects people during a lag spike or people who don't know how to play the game. Otherwise every is gonna spam an air dodge and completely ignore the downside entirely.\
-He can stall high up in the air by doing up to 3 side specials
-My advice is to just limit the side special until he touches the ground or gets hit midair instead

Also wondered if his flutter ability could run on a "meter" instead of being unable to be used once you used it once, even if you ended it prematurely
