Mod Needs Serious Rework
So, I'm turning on Steam guard again to give my thoughts on this:

This mod seems to be too much of a limitation for the player rather than an addition to the game. If the AI is going to be able to replenish no matter where they are and hardly be affected by morale debuffs from constant fighting, then it isn't fair for the player to have to deal with all of these new features.

One of the biggest gripes is issues where I'm penalized for multiple battles, even if those battles are against single units or weakened armies. Why should I end up with a -30 leadership debuff just for finishing off a single lord? Which also brings up the bug where apocalyptic leadership debuffs stack. -5 at first and -10 or 15, fine. But I'm suffering from a constant -30 debuff at the lowest level. The debuff is stacking, and I hardly ever keep the buff at the highest morale level.

Second, replenishment off of local population sounds good on paper, but I can't even replenish in the ocean when I'm in control of the area. That, and there is the issue with replenishing units from allies. They won't replenish unless I'm in their faction's territory. And why isn't my race migrating to an ally's region I'm helping protect? Right next door to one of mine!?

The population and immigration system neds a serious revamp. Look into how you can give the player MORE control over it rather than just constant random chance based on some really vague wording on what race comes to my region. The Dark Elf slave system atleast let me control the flow of my slave population in a way I can properly expect them to affect my property.

But what's worse is that the AI can basically ignore all these features entirely. I get they need to cheat a little because there are limitations on programming the AI to account for the mod. But it's annoying that an enemy army can replinsh in territory their race isn't even in. Global replenishment might as well be available for everyone at that point. And the whole reducing a race down to nothing doesn't work as a mechanic if they can constantly build it up each turn no matter how many times to kill their armies. I mean, if I can recruit new units globally in encamp stance, I should be able to replenish from my global pool as well.

This mod's current state is just not feasible. All these new features only affect me. The AI doesn't care and keeps doing it own thing. This just limits me and slows me down for no reward at best.

Until this mod is reworked and closer to a finished version, I can't recommend this. Atleast look into fixing some of these features and fixing some of the bugs. I've looked at the code andthere are still plenty of areas that need improvement.

Update:

I'm a returning user to this mod and I have to say, this is an improvement compared to the first time I used it. It's obvious this can still use alot of work, but I'm glad to see some earlier concepts were changed or removed such as the leadership penalty for consecutive battles.

I'm still concerned about the amount of supplies taken up for ammunition as it does feel that for some units like archers, they could atleast salvage their own ammo pretty easily. Not sure if it was ever implemented, but perhaps editing the amount of ammo replenishment based on the type of unit could be a thing.

I also still feel like the AI's ability to cheat or be lenient on replenishment is still an issue, but since the AI rarely leave territory they aren't already native to, this seems a little moot. It's still an issue in regards to them expanding to foreign territory and still being able to replenish rather well.

I still feel that more control over the population should be warranted, but that's likely rather difficult to do with hard coding the game. Though, perhaps adding effects onto existing traits and items to help with population control might be something you should look further into.

I am playing on axed difficulty regarding the mod settings, so some of these concerns are more in regards to highest difficulty. Other than that, not too many complaints other than looking to more updates and polishing of this mod. This really is adding to some immersion to the game as I actually feel like having to manage my armies. And I play using ALOT of armies being fielded to replicate Napoleon's Corps system from history. Thus, I turned off supply lines with another mod since it's too much of a hassle and jump in upkeep just for recruiting a fresh lord. Game should really take a better system from other games like Troy's.

Keep it up!

For these reasons, and for my general preference, I'd love a version of the mod only with population and no army mechanics. Preferably without modded replenishment.
I use this mod almost exclusively for the population mechanics, hopefully someone picks up that and continues it
