focus tree doesnt seem to be working. the lines will appear to where new focuses should be, but the focuses themselves do not appear. dont know if this is due to old world blues' winter update.

I'm doing a troika run and I'm not entirely sure how the treasure system works. After completing the focus "rounding up criminals" there was an option that said it granted 1 treasure but I never received it. also the text displayed during the event was just a file name, or something. I like the mod though otherwise

Hi. I know what happened, you got that far without doing "Rivers Run Red" as the troika. I've changed things around so that shouldn't happen to anyone else, and put in some safety code to (hopefully) repair your save, if you can reload to before that event (or refire it using the console command event nf_brotherhood_elh_events.6)

Excuse me, but i suppose your submod conflicts with vanilla version, since there was no civil war in Fusan and not vote of no confidence to Kimball.

Is that the focus right before "The Great Storm" ? If it it I believe I did complete it, but I don't remember if it did anything. Also, is the "Unexpected Council" and "The Great Storm" focuses unfinished or do they complete automatically where some conditions are met?

They're unfinished. They'll be added once I have a satisfying implementation and the free time to work on them :P and no problem! If you have any suggestions for what any of the unfinished foci should do, you can put them in suggestions and they might be done sooner.

@Cowardly_chaplain - Neither of those things are guaranteed to occur, the NCR has a whole path where Kimball is voted back in and Shi controls when the War In Fusan happens. There's no bug there unless you use console commands to tag over and they can't take anymore focuses. (I don't modify either of them, but if you do that and only use my mod and vanilla, I'll look into it) I played a test game just last night and had both occur.

First of all, great job on this. I'm having a lot of fun, even playing other BOS chapters and just letting AI run with Lost Hills Expanded.

There's a bug with the focuses that integrate the San Fran Chapter. When Lost Hills has already invited The San Fran Chapter to their faction, but San Fran didn't win the Navarro civil war, they are in faction, but have not researched Vertibirds at Dawn (shi_vertibirds).

This means that Lost Hills can take the avenge focus, and then declare war on San Fran Chapter. They leave the Western BOS faction, so you can't integrate any other faction, and San Fran take over faction ownership.

Maybe the focuses should bypass if they're in faction with Lost Hills already. Alternatively, if the Navarro territories can be handed over to San Fran Chapter via event, they can complete the Vertibird focus, and then the focus can complete without war. Or you do an additional focus just for San Fran that gives them claims on Navarro, in case Lost Hills doesn't own it.

Wow, now that's definitely an edge case! To be clear, you managed to take "Avenging The Fallen" with Shi in the Brotherhood of Steel with you?

I had the option for both Shi focues in my Lost Hills playthrough, but i actually saw it when I played the Guardians, and had returned the Lost Hills cores after the Legion and I diced up the NCR. Then Lost Hills declared war on San Fran chapter, and San Fran became the faction leader.

Very, very strange, but I believe you! Even with all that information, what you describe should be impossible without focus.nochecks on. I can put in an effect to remove SHI explicitly from the faction, but I have no idea how it's possible for both focuses to be available at the same time as the checks do work.

So, this patch should still fix Lost Hills breaking its own focus tree, but won't fix whatever allowed that war to happen in the first place, since that appears to be impossible. If you do run into it again though, please take screenshots of the focus requirements being met or keep a save or something. I'd love to fix this, there's just not more I can do without that.

I cannot for the life of me get a single scribe team to do any of the decisions. Cant secure lines to other chapters cant start my R&D and cant gift augments to other leaders. I have taken both "The Scribes" and "Expeditionary technology." Pre ncr war 2282. Am i just dumb and missing something?

The only requirement to start R&D is to have a scribe team available - is the decision not visible, or can you just not start it? If it's visible, can you hover over it and verify you have at least 1 scribe team available? It's possible they're all out on expeditions - later expeditions require a Scribe Team (Irvine and Vault 11, then all the naval tech requiring expeditions). If you're sure it's just disappeared ( and have no idea why) you can reach out to me on Discord (I'm in the OWB server) and send me your save. If you just want it fixed, you can turn on debug mode with a console command and there should be a cheat decision to add a Scribe Team.

Yeah no ive never used anything involving a scribe team or any expedition. Just every Decision that uses them says that the only requirement im missing is a scribe team as in i have 0/0 but ill do the console command thank you for your feedback.

found 2 bugs with the expeditions and it might extend to similar focus/decisions, if it is aborted you dont get anything back i noticed i lost my one scribe team when i did the toxic caves somehow ended up with -1 but that is due to another bug caused be a delay in timed decisions taking effect
