Bug Reports

Bugs are inevitable, and there's only so much one developer or modder can discover through play testing on their own!

Please provide as much information as possible! Locations, characters, skills (either on toolbar or equipped), when it occurred (combat, peace, cinematic), and what was going on. Also let me know if you have other mods activated. If you have videos and don't want to upload them, PM for an email to utilize (but still post here so people know it's been reported!)

Known Issues

Skills are unusable and I have equipped two daggers!
If a skill is unusable there are usually 2 issues aside from vanilla gameplay stuff (like not memorized, not meeting skill requirements).
The first is you don't actually have two daggers equipped. Verify this, then continue.
The second is because of the combo system and how the game writes red text regarding tags. Likely the skill you are trying to use has two tag requirements:
Requires Tag HasDualDaggers
Requires Tag Offhand (or Requires Tag Lead, or Requires Tag Dual)

In this case, the game writes red text for EVERY tag the skill requires, even if you are missing only one tag. If the skill requires Tag Offhand, you need to equip two daggers and then use an Offhand attack to gain the Offhand tag. Once that happens, there will be no more red text and the skill will be usable.

Once you have the HasDualDaggers tag by equipping two daggers you will get three skills: Lead Attack, Offhand Attack, and Dual Attack. If you can use those skills in order then all tags are working properly.

Trader doesn't have [book]?
1: Traders only restock with certain events. If you are certain you've NEVER talked with a merchant and they don't have the books available despite the mod being active, please let me know. Traders you HAVE spoken with prior to activating the mod will only have the books when they restock (their inventory will update on level up, or after some time).

Additional Requests
Please be informative and courteous in reports and replies. Suggestions for this mod that include new features are generally not going to be actionable as the mod in it's current form is complete save any bugs or issues that might need ironing out. Visual issues, animation issues, and the like are something I can check out, but I am very much limited by time, experience and the Engine when it comes to some of that stuff. There is always the chance of returning to the mod for polish and expansion, but we will see.

Hi, The mods simply don't work sometimes.
They always do (assassin and guardian) in act 1, however in act 2 they dont. We arrived in driftwood at lv10, did lots of quests and are now lvl 13, still no books, from either of the mods.
The elementalist mod works just fine. please help mate.

It's because another mod has overwritten the Scoundrel and Warrior vendors rather than added to their inventories. There's nothing I'm going to be able to help with, you need to go through your mod list, find the conflicting mod and then choose one or the other. Double check the Driftwood Scoundrel vendor (the dwarf in the tavern) and the Warrior vendor (the human male arms merchant).

The conflicting mod doesn't HAVE to be a class mod, it could be any mod that changes how vendors work or what they have to offer.

while not the biggest deal in the world [death's retreat] is practically useless when playing as a undead as it damages you instead of healing ..... idk if it could be possible but it would be neat for it to heal living and undead pc's

Hi, I'm playing with a friend and we just arrived Driftwood, and the vanilla merchant for Scoundrel skills (the dwarf in the Tavern, keeping the arena) doesn't sell your skillbooks. It was the first time we talked to him, is it normal ?

Can I get a list of mods from you that you're using? As far as I can tell there hasn't been any issues when other mods are not involved, but I've gotten enough recent reports that there might be a conflict with another common mod.

You need to perform an offhand attack and have dual daggers equipped. If you have not done both then both lines of red text will show up regardless of which condition you might meet.
Great mod! But the tag system is not working (Tag HasDualDaggers, Tag Offhand, etc) doesn't enable the skills that need it.

I ask, because this problem comes up a lot, but it does turn out to be a misunderstanding.

If the skill requires HasDualDaggers and Offhand; Offhand refers to having performed an "offhand" attack skill. Because of how the engine works, if a skill has two tag requirements and you're missing one, it displays BOTH tags as red text. So if you're trying to use a skill that requires the offhand tag and you have dual daggers equipped, it will still say Requires Tag HasDualDaggers.

If lead attacks are still usable, then everything is functioning. If you have the three default combo skills (black backgrounds and white slash marks as icons) then the dual daggers tag is working fine. If you can use the default combo skills in sequence (Lead Attack, Offhand Attack, Dual Attack) then the combo tags are working fine.
The lead attacks are working fine, but all others are disabled, so no offhand/dual/finisher.

The combo system seems to be functioning just fine, skills come active after using a pre-requisite skill and skills that can only target knocked down enemies or require conditions to be met perform their effects properly.
