My suggestion: A simple light view-bobbing that is synced with your footsteps, The camera just barely moves up and down with your footsteps, Nothing crazy like SOME mods do.

i didnt want to include viewbob as the reason simply theres already enough of them, my later goal is to make extensions for this addon like said viewbob that will be connected with the systems of this mod or other movement related additions.

Configurable modifiers to the physics depending on material type ?
move speed, friction, acceleration, etc.

(sort of like how the configuration in simfphys does)

Sliding, but unlike VManip, it's editable in how long it lasts, the distance a player goes when sliding with momentum (like going down a slope, you would accelerate).

What about taking some aspects of the Movement Inertia addon? Not literally of course, but your own implementation. Basically, different speeds for when you are indoors and outdoors.

I don't see a point in changing the speed based on being indoors outdoors at all, to properly detect it probably will require several traces and if that won't be hard on performance I'll think about it

As for sliding, that's outside of the mods scope for now, I have a lot to learn

When you finally add support for viewbobbing mods, Please try and do CBOBBING, Its a really good and unobtrusive mod, Its also very configurable.

there should be an option to re enable bhoping to keep your momentum after landing

Could you try to add some form of setting to disable swimming? Just causing you to sink at a slower falling speed than the current gravity. I've just gotten SOMA because of the gm_abyssalplain map and would love if this were added.
