Flying Wing Fighter-2 Owner's Manual
Due to its myriad of features (as well as idiosyncracies), the Flying Wing Fighter-2 (FWF-2) can be best understood with an in-depth owner's manual, providing further information and suggestions on how to properly use the vehicle. Let it be noted that the suggestions that are provided are not necessarily set in stone, as one might even find their own methods to be more useful than what is described below.

FLYING
Being one of the most advanced plane dupes in the game, flying the FWF-2 may take some getting used to. Probably the most fundamental piece of information to provide would be that the up-and-down arrow keys for pitch are INVERTED, like in most flight simulation games. Further information on taking off, flying in general, and landing are provided below:

Beginning with when the plane is on the ground, the RCTRL and NUMPAD 0 keys (not toggled) can be used to taxi the plane, using the rudder to steer. To take off, press once RSHIFT and almost immediately pull up the plane (Down Arrow Key) to avoid possible issues with the front landing gear.

When in the air upon takeoff, press two times the NUMPAD Enter key to retract the landing gear, as this greatly improves the plane's flying characteristics. The same keys that control taxiing can also be used to speed up/slow down the plane. Slowing down the plane by pressing and holding NUMPAD 0 serves as an airbrake, which allows the plane to take tighter turns in the air, whereas RCTRL serves as a boost, giving the plane a better chance to avoid RPGS.

Let it be noted that when in the air, the FWF-2 reaches a top speed of 80 MPH at a slower rate than the original FWF and Ultimate Fighter Jet, mainly due to its increased weight of 5.4 tonnes (as compared to 3.2 and 1.9 tonnes for the FWF and UFJ respectively). Like its predecessor, the FWF-2 requires careful use of the rudder, elevator, and aileron controls (rudder is EXTREMELY important for this airplane) in order to turn in the air. The FWF-2 is also a far more unforgiving plane to fly when it comes to quick maneuvers, as applying too much rudder can lead to the plane uncontrollably yawing and crashing into the ground.

When landing the FWF-2 the landing gear must be re-extended by pressing once the NUMPAD Enter key. It is paramount to abstain from banking/yawing dramatically when the landing gear is deployed, as this may result in severe longitudinal instability. In order to keep the plane from breaking, it is advised to land with the rear wheels touching the ground first, followed by gracefully lowering the nose to the ground. When all wheels are on the ground, turn off the throttle by pressing RSHIFT, and press and hold the NUMPAD 0 key if necessary to slow the plane down on the ground.

WEAPON SYSTEMS
As stated in the description, the FWF-2 fires 5 incendiary rocket bursts from dual rocket pods, for a total of 10 rockets; they are propelled to over 160 miles per hour, and are particularly effective against enemy personnel and flammable structures. It is paramount to use the on-board gun camera by pressing NUMPAD . for a significantly improved sight picture.

The FWF-2's bomb is the plane's most effective weapon, being capable of completely destroying most destructible buildings in one hit. The bomb is force-welded to the plane's central prop; by quickly pressing once the NUMPAD / key a thruster on the bomb activates, breaking the weld for the bomb to free-fall. While the bomb is generally more reliable than the cannon, it is advised to drop the bomb when the plane is at least 50 meters above the ground to ensure that it explodes.

It should be noted that the rocket and bomb weapon systems weigh 650 and 262 kilograms respectively, for a total of 912 kilograms (~17% of the plane's total weight). Especially when all the rockets/bomb are depleted, both the plane's center of mass and weight change considerably, which in turn greatly affect flight characteristics. When all rockets are expended, for example, the plane naturally pitches up due to the change in center of mass.

PARACHUTES
As of GMod's February 2022 Patch, players in chair vehicles can now take explosive damage; likewise, being seated inside the FWF-2 when it explodes due to crashing/enemy fire will cause almost certain death to the player. In practice, the included parachute system spares the player from this predicament.

The FWF-2's most advanced feature is its dual ejection seat system; two parachutes are behind both seats and are activated by pressing once the NUMPAD * key. A thruster (on each parachute) breaks the welds connecting each parachute/seat to the fuselage, and hydraulics open up the parachutes' 4 individual flaps. All the while, a weak hoverball allows both parachutes to slowly descend to the ground.

Occasionally, the parachutes may not fully eject from the FWF-2 due to a slow vertical velocity. This can be mitigated by holding down the NUMPAD * key slightly longer than normal, or by pressing it two more times.
