Newbie question
Hello together,

mod is working fine for me, but I have a gameplay question. If I have a lack of any ressourcen, say wood (I was playing as duchy of holland), it will pump up my construction cost. What are ways to get more wood for me? I couldn't understand how to set up trade posts or trade deals, building trading ports didn't seem to do anything helpful... Can anybody help me how to get certain materials that I lack? Thanks in advance!

First of all, remember that the aim of the mod is to make rulers suffer from the lack of resources, not to turn them into traders. So, if you start in Northern Africa, or even in some developed parts of Western Europe, you have to make do with a lack of timber. In fact, even if you conquer good timber regions (you can use the mod Trade Maps DTR to locate them), development will eventually consume most of it, so most rulers will be deficient in timber in late games.

This is how timber values work: https://ck3mod.com/timber/

Trade posts or trade deals will work increasing your available timber (up to 100% of the tradee's available timber), *if* they don't have Banned Strategic Exports: https://ck3mod.com/raid-trade/

In fact, Banning Strategic Exports yourself is a good way to increase your resources (at a cost in terms of gold, prestige and opinion).
