Problems and suggestions
Hello. In this mod, I have a problem with "teleporting" passengers to the platforms. Underground passages or overhead passages do not operate. Passengers simply disappear at the entrance to the station building and appear on the platform. But in the screenshots, I see that passengers are walking along the passages... What could be causing the problem?

"Teleporting" occurs when the passenger "lanes" (that form part of the platform, footbridge, subway, station buildings, etc" models) do not join up to form a continuous path from outside the station to the platform. I have only tested this mod with the base game station buildings, which station buildings are you using? Alternatively the Side Entrance module within the mod provides direct station access, so you could try temporarily removing the station building and just have a Side Entrance to see if that stops the teleporting.

Well, I tested this station with other mods as well, and disabled all other mods leaving only this one. Tried dead-end station and transit. In all cases, teleportation occurs ...
I have tried not changing the default tracks (passengers fall through) and also tried changing them on the high platform tracks. In all variants, passengers are teleported.

I also saw a video on YouTube with an overview of this station, and the author of that video had the same problem ...

Can you post pictures of your station configuration that exhibits teleporting? I have many station configurations based on the mod that work, but none that don't.

Did I understand correctly? Do you need screenshots showing how many platforms and what buildings are attached to the station?

Yes. I need screenshots in order to attempt to understand or recreate your problem.

So I started a new game and built two stations in two cities. Only this mod is included. I tried to use one of the stations in three versions:
1) Passengers on the second track with an overpass;
2) Passengers on the second track with an underpass;
3) Passengers on the first track.
In all cases, passengers are teleported.

I created a new free test game with a tropical map start date 1920 and created a new line between two cities. I used the same GWR Station templates as you have shown in your screenshots at each end of the line. Hopefully you can see in my screenshots there was no teleporting:

In your screenshots their seems to be no people at all. Did you have an operating line in your test?

Looking at the station mods you have listed, if you mix modules from these mods and the GWR station mod in the same station I would expect teleporting to occur.

Oh, well... I don't understand what could be wrong... The lines are working correctly. There are passengers at the stations, but they are few. In my last screenshot, you can see that a certain number of passengers are on the platform.

I've been playing TF2 for a long time... I know the mechanics of the game, so I don't think the problem is that I've configured something wrong in the game itself.

As I said earlier, I created a new game only with this mod, so I could not mix modules from different mods in any way.

I also tried reinstalling the mod, but the problem didn't go away.

I did not find it in the description, but maybe I need some other mods for this to work?

And please clarify, do you have passengers drowning on a platform with standard tracks? Because I need to replace tracks with special ones for high platforms.

+Sorry to take up your time!)) But as I mentioned earlier, I'm not the only one with this problem, so finding a solution might be useful for more than just me. And yet, I do not insist that you spend a lot of time looking for the cause of this problem))

The GWR Station mod requires no other mods. My two station test only has one mod enabled and that is the GWR Station mod, all other mods are disabled.

There are no passengers "drowning" with standard (i.e. base game) tracks. If you have drowning passengers with base game tracks then that suggests to me that there is another mod having an effect. Track and platform mods have different approaches to fix the drowning problem when the mod platform height is higher than the base game platform. Some change and replace base game code, which can have undesired effects elsewhere and can make the mod loading order critical. The GWR Station mod does not do this and, as far as I aware, has no passenger drowning effects irrespective of whether mod or base game track modules are used.

I'm not aware of any other reports of similar issues and the mod has over 4000 subscribers now, so hopefully you will find a solution to your problem.

Ok, thanks for now. I'll try experimenting with removing different mods later. I read somewhere that even the presence of a conflicting mod, without activating it in the game, can affect active mods. At the moment I have exactly 100 mods installed including yours)) So I admit that there may be conflicts somewhere))

Based on the results, I will give feedback if I find dependencies on other mods.

Hi Isambard,
i’m just letting you know that with the help of the UG I managed to solve my problem with your (and not only) station. The problem was on my part (wrong mod installation folder). So thank you for a great working mod!))
