Different ship starting positions. Preferably random and out of sensor range, I think the ships should start away from each other because if you manage to get a weapon fast enough and board their ship when you take their shields down for a few seconds you can sabotage their ship and win in a minute or two. I did this multiple times and killed all the crew after screwing their ship up.
If there already is Pirate AI, please tell me, as I said I havent played into this gamemode much so I havent found anything.
I like where this idea is headed, you could reinforce hull with enough, or it'd give you a reason to stop and check out like planets or asteroids like in star trek voyager, there might be something of use on it.
ha what if the game lobby and starting story were that youre all on a space station together picking out teams, and then it gets attacked, you all evacuate, and are left fending for yourself and making tough choices about potetntial allies
