why is there "squish" now
my man is jelly and i dont like it the feature is not needed and little people like it so remove it or even better add a config. hope the developers off the mod or a helpful dude can help me out

so there is actually a config, but it's not labeled well. In the "SlashingPreinstall" settings in your config list, look for "Mods.CoolerItemVisualEffect.Config35" and turn it OFF. Its a reference to Celeste, which is cute, but a better descriptor would have been nice.
