Summoner bug?
Hello !
Im playing with the calamity Mod and im doing a playthrough as a summoner.

I've manage to get a summon high level, enough to get a new slot (the cost of the summon has been reduce by 50%) but for some reason, it doesn't work for every summon weapon

Im using Summoner UI to see how many summon i can get and here's what i have.
Im using the "Belladonna Spirit Staff" when i use it the Summoner UI says "0.5/1 summon" so im able to summon another one, no problem here.
But when im using for example the "Finch Staff" or the "Slime Staff", when i use it once, the summoner UI says "0.5/1 summon" but IMPOSSIBLE to get the second summon.

Any idea why ?

note: even with default settings and a weapon at level 100, i can't summon a second time, looks like all vanilla summon doesn't work (still playing with calamity) but as far as i've tested, modded summon works

I can only say that vanilla weapons work fine if you have at least one additional summon slot (2 in total)
To check, enable cheats in the config, give yourself anything from a finch to a terraprism, write /itemlvl 1000 with the standard config and you will see that you can summon a large number
I can’t say for sure what caused your problem, but it’s all based on the mechanics of terraria and I can’t do more. There is a possibility that you can’t create two, because it works something like this: you have a requirement of 0.500001, which is why 1.00002 doesn’t fit into 1, which is why the call doesn’t work
