Solution: Crash upon loading in!! (how to change gmod 32bit to 64bit)
It seems people cant read descriptions or dont know how to change the branch of Gmod they are playing.
So again: if your Gmod is crashing when done loading gm_flatgrass, its most likely because you are running Gmod in 32bit , its probably the default.

To change the branch of Gmod you´re playing, follow these steps:

-> close game
-> steam library
-> right-click gmod
-> properties
-> Betas
-> select either of the x86-64 - Chromium branches. (no big difference, one is just an update
behind)

Then your gmod should automatically update (like 200mb) and you´re done.
If everything goes well you should now be given the option to launch in x64 bit upon starting Gmod.
If that doesnt solve the crashing then comment on the addon page or look for other instructions, but please stop spamming the comments of the addon with the same problem, read the darn description. (pretty please)

For the last step please consider donating to Mee via his Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/meegmod

Id like to add that i am in no way affiliated to Mee (although i wish lmao) and this is just my own frustration with comments being spammed with the same compaint.
Thank you Mee for making such an amazing addon. (again)

thanks for making this,
as another ‘treat’ for switching to 64 bit, you will get much better performance overall, and less crashes. I was able to gain an extra 100 frames on gm_flatgrass by switching over, but it depends on your hardware. I am unsure why this is not the standard branch for gmod. There are so many issues with 32 bit and I hate working around them. If you switch to 64 bit and you will make a ton of addon creators happy because they wont need to work around stupid 32 bit bullshït.

The main problem with this branch is the crashing only occurs on OTHER peoples hardware! I have no way to debug this issue myself. If someone (with the issue) could join the discord and ask me, I will gladly spend the next 1-2 hours ingame with you debugging this problem. (And hopefully solve it)

wait so Gmod in 64 is way more stable in single player but in multi player its unstable?

64bit is more stable in general, I have no idea why its not the default branch

Can you PLS make it so we dont have to switch to 64 bit?

hes pushing sorcery to its upper limits (or its limit) it takes alot of power to make it happen 64 bit is just more stable overall
