Researching schematics now requires 5 Scrap of Survivor's Journals, a writing utensil, and a sheet of paper. Research can be directed to either Axes/Bludgeons, Blades/Spears, or Clothing/More and will consume the sheet of paper and 3 to 5 of the Scraps.

Scraps can be found rarely on zombie corpses, inside certain containers while looting, or while foraging.

Tips to Find:
1. Check every zombie you bring down as you bring them down.
2. Search containers that someone might leave a journal if they were living in a building. Bedside tables, bookshelves, side tables in living rooms, lockers, etc.
3. While foraging, stick to places people would normally live and focus on sifting through the Trash.
