Definitely looks like it would fire explosive shells. Here’s what I’m thinking

+ deals aoe damage on hit
+ faster spin up


- slower firing speed
- reduced ammo count
- reduced move speed while firing

It looks like the ammo barrel is much smaller than other miniguns.

+no spin up time
+100% tighter spread
-50% max ammo capacity
+Dealing damage charges up a meter which when full, alt-fire can be used to activate a temporary mode which lasts 30 sec. where ammo is continually refilled.
-Rage meter, when fill can be activated to fire high damage explosive projectiles at the enemy.
+75% more accurate
+60% more damage
+Silent spin up
-35% less firing speed
-50% less ammo
-15% less movement when spun up
-No random critical hits


I not then maybe reskin for Tomislav or Huo long heatmaker

weapon overheats for a 1 second cooldown every 67 bullets

-Loud(er) spin-up noise?



- Maybe a smaller ammo capacity if you further increase the firing speed and change the stats around a bit.

mini-gun needs to be reloaded

300 ammo

50 bullets in magazine

10% bonus damage when being healed from any source

after 3 kills, get to uber yourself for 8 seconds. during this uber phase you cant use your minigun or shotgun, only food items and melees

right clicking activates it after a taunt similar to phlog

20% faster firing rate

side note: when heavy is taunting to activate the uber, he will say one of his lines triggered when doing a battle cry ( c, 2)

OofeyPoofey you are a freaking master of game design, but I would change it to the minigun only having 100 bullets in reserve and give it a simple downside like reduced healing so that it is balanced and forces users into the chaser heavy playstyle.

Stat Suggestion:
Pros:
-10% increased damage.
-Holding the fire button charges a shot in the weapon. The spread of the weapon begins to be reduced by 1% every .02 seconds until it is 100% accurate and the next shot gains 1% of damage every .01 seconds to a max of 250% increased damage. (Stacks with base damage increase)
-Weapon suffers no damage fall-off.

Cons:
-75% reduced ammo (50 bullets in total capacity)
-Bullets are replaced with projectiles that experience mild drop-off.
-Cannot collect ammo from dispensers or carts.
-20% increased spread.

*Each bullet is fired when the mouse is clicked and released, so it is now semi-automatic.

A new means of holding capture points and eliminating any unneeded stress or tension with the onset of a swarm of enemies whilst resting in the backline, guarding your medic.

I think heavy really needs a minigun that spins up faster as in he can switch weapon and walk faster after letting go off right or left click so you can combo the minigun with the shotgun or melee. Dunno the stats it would have tho.

This weapon fires timed explosives which detonate on impact

+ Press secondary fire to chamber a round; load up to 5 shots which can be unleashed all at once
+ Requires no windup to fire
- Incur a movement speed penalty per shot loaded into the chamber (up to -50% speed)
- Reduced accuracy per loaded shot (+1 degree spread per shot loaded)
You receive little to no self-inflicted knockback with this weapon

(+) Shots penetrate enemies and enemy buildings
(+) On kill: User is healed for 50 health (which can overheal) and deals mini-crits for 5 seconds
(+) Dropped ammo packs within a small radius are dragged towards user while spun up or firing
(-) 15% damage penalty

I feel this weapon should fill a different role to any existing minigun, so I made a weapon that specialises in dealing with groups of enemies but is worse in 1v1 situations.
