What's the deal with Lilith?
She's in my court as the spymaster. Naturally I got her a husband because she seems to be fertile.
But every husband I arranged marry to her died mysteriously soon after. Is she doing this?

This is very likely. Lilith does not like to be permanently attached to one person. She is a capricious and unpredictable demon. She may kill someone for fun or because she is bored. A relationship with Lilith is not easy ;)

Is there a way to stop Lilyth from killing her husband? I'm asking because my character actually is married to her and survived 5 different assasination attempts so far but I dom't want to divorce her just bc of the possible source power it can give my hiers

You're dead.

She didn't kill you despite five attempts? I think Lilith needs some enhancement o.O

I suspect she will not kill you if you become her lover/soulmate. But I don't know, she's a demon, so maybe it's inevitable ;)

Shouldn't the dev know since you wrote all the modifiers?

Lilith is a mystery even to me :D

Lilith's behaviour is influenced by three things - the fact that she is Lilith (she has a special algorithm), the fact that she is a demon, and the fact that she is a character whose personality influences her actions. This makes her quite unpredictable, and that's the way it should be.
As for her special algorithm, Lilith can kill a husband for two 'reasons':
  • because he is not her lover/soulmate - note that Lilith mostly does not choose her husband, mostly it is her liege who chooses him. Lilith does not have to like it at all, and since she is a demon, she has no inhibitions to express her displeasure in the form of violence.
Or maybe it's not about dissatisfaction? Maybe it's just that Lilith is bored and would like SOMETHING to happen? Everyone can try to justify it in their own way.
  • If you don't fulfil some whim of Lilith's, she may decide it's time to go out into the world and seduce another lord for herself. In such a situation, she tries to murder her current husband, if she has one (whether a lover or not), so that she can move freely in the world.

Besides, Lilith is still fickle/deceitful demon, so she is likely to find other reasons to murder someone, including her husband. Apart from the special algorithm, she is subject to the regular behavioural algorithms just like any other character in the game.

Aight well I was her soulmate and followed her wishes. Tho to be safe I did throw her into a dungeon and executed to reset the 7th attempt (don't ask about the 6th)

When you hear ‘I love you’ and at the same time feel the blade of a knife on your back - that's what a toxic relationship is.

"- You promised, you did it again!"
"- Sweetheart, wait, I'll change! This is the last time, I promise..."

Maybe Lilith isn't as good an assassin as she should be, but you can't deny her powers of persuasion if she's been given seven chances ;)

I mean she does make good sorcerers...plus trying to make a devil child is far easier with her than with belial or other weaker demons.

But really the dragonscale armor is saving my butt.

Yep and I don't have the demonic scepter so there is no mix between those if you are curious

If you have summoned her, then everything should work properly. But seven kill attempts indicate the opposite. Perhaps not everything is going according to code. On the other hand, Lilith was supposed to be unpredictable and it seems that the goal was achieved. Well, I will be watching her.

Well that might be the case now. After resumoning her I became her lover and soulmate again but put her into a marriage with someone else and noone died yet

Perhaps she has indeed changed this time... ;p

Buut just to be sure I'll give her as a concubine to the genghis khan in like 20 years when he pulls up
