From personal experience, I tend to only use the Eighth and Ninth books but mileage varies based on how you want to build Bone Daddy's army.
Mainly true but getting all nine books also:
1- provides cumulative buffs to Power Reserve and or miscast (i believe)
2- Unlocks an extra node that grants Nagash a few passives for an extra 1 point investment.
Considering you'd need to spend 10 points (9 books + passive skill) for those passives is not worth the cost IMHO unless you wanted to doomstack Morgasts.
I agree. It's one of the few things about this excellent mod that I think could use some tuning...especially since some books are worth so much more than others that unless you get all 10, there's little point...25% of your skill points on your Lord for not much utility.
Unless you could change books without a 1-turn wait, if that's a thing that could be changed.
