Fog Island Poison Fog Remover Mod
Hey, I kinda fiddled around with the files and created a personal mod to deal with the poison fog in the Fog Islands. I created a settlement there, but my hordes of laborers kept getting yeeted by the poison fog, so I modded it out. Is there any interest in me uploading that for people who want to live there? Or should I just keep my secrets to myself much like Darth Plaguias the Wise xD... If I had known there was poison there I definitely would've thought of a different spot to live. Or at least hire less slaves and more droids. But I didn't feel like moving and thought this was a good compromise lol.

gameplay related note: You can live there easily even with the poison for some free defense but you need to keep gas masks or such on all your people all the time. Can be annoying especially if you forget and someone dies but hey :) lol

On mods note:
I was thinking of some mods that can improve this on top of it already like a couple new starts. I don't know if there's any way to tell if people would want it unless they search it and end up there.
I also noticed that quite a few mods that don't mess with the base game still work nicely like slopeless at least so far I've had 0 issues.

I will list some just for others reference, you will see me say SEEMS a lot, but it's because I can never know 100% if it's fine until I spend a long time playing. These are generally mods that are visual only or don't CHANGE any files to DIFFERENT files. If it's a 1:1 replacement it should work as long as it's not like an animation mod or sounds etc.

Particle Optimization - no probs at all

Race Blood - Maybe its built in but I didn't try without it. Easily my favorite lil mod. So far so good.

Slopeless - I haven't had any issues and it seems to work just like in normal Kenshi

Compressed Textures Project - Works but probably skips some textures if they've been renamed and such. Seems to be working totally fine for me.

I have yet to keep trying more but if I end up trying most of my list from normal Kenshi I'll take notes for sure. Those are also in load order that I have them (under the Project Kathun mod of course)

Thanks for the Input! I have the Great Beep, and the Great Beep and my two other Hivers don't like wearing helmets. I thought of the logistics of shopping/crafting the Composite Helmet which has perfect immunity to gas and dust storm. The math didn't work out in terms of wasting time. So again, I decided to mod it out.

I did notice that this mod has race blood baseline. It seems to have several mod functionalities introduced, including the Recruitment Caravan where you can request to have recruits of a certain race come to your settlement. Still haven't super investigated everything, just going at my own pace, but it's cool all the same. I wanted to install Slopeless but was afraid to. I think I'll install and import to see if it works on my current save

Ah I see that makes sense I forgot about hivers! I even have one in my group lol. No boots either. Good idea then!
So far I've had no issues with slopeless at all but I havent excactly built a mega base yet as I'm doing the same, just trying to survive in this harsh world lol.

Here's some more I added and haven't had any issue with since adding but are still obviously up in the air. I'll put them in the order I have them in my modlist too even if I already mentioned it for any people lurking the forums:
UnkownRegionsAdventures (this is project kathun)
Weaklings Always Give XP (the 50% kind)
Slopeless
Race Blood (although I might not need this it seems!)
Compressed Textures Project
Particle Optimization
Nice Map [Zones + Zone Names + Roads]

The next one I'll try adding if nothing goes wrong for a few more hours is ScarAW's Pathfinding mod as I really like that one from my vanilla kenshi.

Keep me posted on how everything goes with the mods! Seems like stuff that won't modify anything Kathun already touches can be okay as long as it loads after Kathun but obviously no way to know without a few hours of testing

*remvoed Minor Mesh Fixes because it causes some armors meshes to be replaced wrongly. I suppose you could try it above kathun so kathun over writes it but then again why fletch
