The throwable stats sorta sounds annoying for the enemy players to deal with, tho, i can see it as a way to punish people who tend to spawncamp if the scout decides to spam it to get out of spawn.
However, what if instead of blinding them.. it sorta worked like the gass passer?, would make the sun on a stick less of a situation only weapon.
Besides that everything else sounds nice for this, would be fun to have a jar that can soak yourself up. . w.
* Stats are for the idea of the item being thrown.
When thrown on allies or self:
- 10% movement increase (allies) (If you hit yourself, you are ignited)
- Grants a Vaccinator fire damage resistance buff
When thrown on enemies:
- Enemies are ignited.
- 5% increase in damage
Effects last four seconds.
Adds a red recolor of the Jarate screen effect for only enemies.

= Deal damage to charge up your sauce meter (400 damage for scout, and 260 MELEE damage for demoman)
= Taunt to drink the hot sauce and gain its effect for 6 seconds

The idea here is that for scout, this would be a riskier crit-a-cola, where you can do way better in combat but half of your health slowly drains away and you can't effectively heal it away. For the demoman, this is intended to be a hybrid night tool for you to play demonight for a bit and then switch to the grenade launcher for maximum damage. Also random crits would be horrible with this weapon so none of those. Also it would act like the bottle for demoman if it wasn't already obvious.

oats enemies with a flammable Hot sauce, which then ignites into after burn if they take damage (even enemy Pyros!)
+ Partially nullifies Cloak on enemy Spies.
+ Extinguishes fire on wielder and allied players.
+ Has a 30-second recharge time.
+ 20% decrease in recharge time when you extinguish an allied player.
- MvM players will Probably hate you if this gets a certain upgrade
- ... How can you even get random crits on a Jarate style item?
Basically I gave Scout a technical Gas Passer reskin
Gives user 12 seconds of buffs
buffs include:
30% faster reload and firing speed
50% chance to ignite player for 3 seconds on hit.
ignited players only lose -1 health per second
side note this would be a great setup with the sun on a stick.
