I'm thinking you can charge it to fire a rapid burst fire

Though I would prefer that it were a new kind of Crusader's Crossbow to create something to compete with that insidious weapon, I can imagine that this was planned to be a syringe gun. However, I will give two takes on the weapon: one for crossbow stats, one for syringe gun.

Crossbow:
Pros:
- 25% increased projectile speed
- Projectile explodes in a "team-colored" mist of ooze that lingers for 2.5 seconds and has a diameter equivalent to half of a full control point. Allies standing in the mist are healed for 5 health per .25 seconds and lose all debuffs (slowed, burning, jarate, etc). Enemies standing in the mist gain the slowed debuff for 1 second.

Cons:
- Reload takes five seconds to complete. (Still progresses whilst holstered)
- 60% damage penalty

A mechanism that Medic and Engineer collaborated on, the projectiles shatter from the immense pressure of the device once that collide, but that only gave medic new ideas for chemicals to test.

Syringe gun:
Pros:
-25% increased magazine capacity
-40% increased firing speed
-Firing the weapon builds the pressure meter. Firing one hundred needles fills this meter, but each needle decreases the fire rate by 1%. Once the meter is full, the wearer may spend the full pressure meter and 20% of ubercharge to make one "Thermal Thruster" jump by holding jump in the air.

Cons:
-50% reduced ammo collected from ammo boxes and dispensers.
-Resupply cabinets reset meter
-Each missed syringe reduces the max health of the user to a minimum of 50. Health regenerates to normal max like the GRU.

A weapon that gives a new form of transportation and a new resource to experienced medics who trust their accuracy and like escape plans.
Continued hits increase projectile speed, firing speed, and damage
Kills automatically reload the weapon
-25% damage penalty
30% slower firing speed

*Continued hits means as long as the fire button is not released or the weapon isn't manually reloaded, the increase counts
*Projectile speed increases by 3% per hit, firing speed by 5%, and damage by 4%, all stack to +100%

Aight, here's my take:

Pros:
You don't take any fall damage while deployed.

Cons:
20% more bullet damage taken.
10% less projectile speed.

Demoman wanted a more safe time for medic, and suggested a gun that removes all damage from falling.

Allows you to fall from fatal heights without dying, in exchange for less self defense.
Make it the old Panic Attack but a needle gun. Shoots, I dont know, 15 needles in a rectangle per shot, but each shot is loaded individually when the fire button is held down.

OK what about

Pros:
Hold Alt-fire to charge a high damage, explosive shot that heals teammates (uses a full clip)
+15% movement speed when deployed
+20% reload speed

Cons:
-20% damage penalty
-50% clip size
-30% accuracy
-Syringes are loaded 5 at a time

idk man. seems like shooting the amount of syringes you normaling do times 5 seems like a pro.

+55% Faster firing speed
+on kill: gain 20% health back
- 15% damage penalty
- 20% slower healing
- no random crits

For some reason when I saw this I thought of a defilibrator. So basically a laser weapon for medic.

+ Does not rely on ammo
+ alt-fire shoots energy beam (think short circuit alt fire) that passes through players, heals teammates and hurts enemies it passes through (50 health at the center, decreases the farther away you are)
+ projectiles always go straight
- Projectiles distentagrate at a certain distance (Think a bit longer flamethrower range)
- Alt fire consumes a third of your clip
- No random crits
- Minicrits when it would normally crit
- 80% damage penalty against buildings

When I saw the name and the shape of the weapon, I thought of a deflilibrator for some reason. So basically a laser weapon for medic, instead of shooting needles it shoots electrical bolts:

+ Does not require ammo
+ Alt-Fire: A charged shot (think short circuit projectile) that passes through players, heals teammates and harms enemies (50 health at the center, decreases the farther form the center you are)
+ Projectiles always go straight
- Projectiles distentagrate at a distance (think a little linger than max flamethrower range)
- No random critical hits
- Deals only 20% damage to buildings
- Minicrits whenever it would normally crit
RoboGen123 19 Apr, 2023 @ 9:14am
Pros:
+70% projectile velocity
+25% damage buff
Can be alt-fired, alt-fire consumes 15 ammo, can heal allies but at a lower amount than xbow, increases velocity by 200% and damage by 500%
Cons:
-50% clip size
-25% firing speed

Pros:+Fire shoots nails that, when they collide with the surface "explode" small healing sphere
+40% damage
Cons:-25% clip size
-20% slower reload speed

+15% Faster projectiles

the Under Pressure
Level 25 Pressure-fed Syringe Gun
Slot: Primary

+ Atl-fire: turn the lever to change damage type. List of damage types available:

Rapid fire mode:
+ 150% faster Firing speed
+ Replaces the Projectile with Hit scan
- 50% less damage
Burst Mode:
+ 280% damage (Long range) to +650% damage (Point Blank)
+ Syringes deal 10 damage per pellet
- 200% slower firing Speed
Bolt mode:
+ can headshot
+ Fires special bolts that heal teammates and deals damage
- requires 10 Syringes to fire

+ 75% max primary ammo on wearer.

Is this utterly impossible? more than likely but hey I was inspired by the Description for this weapon
maybe it would do a burst fire thing of sorts?
