Report a translation problem
I guess you will have to "role" your own story within the game.
Obrigado for your contribution!
Yes, this is a must be, but the problem is that if I put the wfas menu (to organise troops in rows, volley fire, etc etc), I have to disable "formations" mod, and that mod works together with the "formai" mod (that makes IA a LOT more clever, basically don´t attack you like native, instead they form lines, cavalry charge, etc etc). So, I have to find a way to "merge" formations with the NW/WFAS menu, but that it´s not easy and takes a lot of time. I will try to add it for next version

Uma pergunta, no world map as cidades vão ter aparencias coloniais, de 1800?
They fought during the war? Or were they active only while the Republic lasted? Or you say to put them in the gaucho camps as rebels?
And we don´t have map icons for the cities yet.
They was active only during Rio Grandense Republic, allied to farroupilhas.
Until november 1844, when the last members died in a ambush battle called Massacre dos Porongos (is said they was unarmed during this battle, against the Brasil empire army). The few survivors was recruited by Baron Caxias, to Brasilian Empire Army.
Maybe they could be in game as a custom troop for hire, similar to the farmer in vanilla game, and gain level. (not in world map, but as a option to be hired in a town or farm)
Sorry, Im not history expert, most things I know is from videos or references.
This link is about Porongo massacre.

EDIT: Oh man.. just saw the mod is 1865, lol.

I think balance needs to be really overhauled. You have no chance of fighting superior troops with non-endgame troops. For instance, Gaucho Volunteers and Gaucho Militia die instantly against any cavalry units in the game, while in real life even if their guns sucked they would be able to kill a lot of cavalry in close range with their rifles.
Outlaws are way too weak and nobody stands a chance against armies even with numerical superiority unless they have endgame troops.
2. Troop diversity
I think that instead of any farm in the world giving you the same farmers, we should have "gaucho volunteers" in villages in the Pampa, "german farmers" in german settlements (such as Joinville) which don't exist in the game yet but would be nice to add. Germans could have better rifles/infantry due to shooting sports culture which is still very widespread and was born during that time as a defense from the settlers against gauchos.
Each troop tree could have their own allegiances, so you could start your own faction with the nation of your liking (want to start another independent Rio Grande? Get gaucho troops and fight against Brazil. Want to start a German-speaking sovereign state in the Platin Basin? Get some german farmers. Want to expel colonizers/invaders? Get some native troops)
3. Some bugs and polishing
Faction report screen still shows "swadia", "nords", "rhodokhs", etc.
Deer and boar are just naked men you hunt and get no boar or deer
4. Other adjustments
It would be really nice if we got nicer terrain. I always get forested hills in Uruguay, many times with pine trees(!)
I think terrain could be more accurate and we could have more grasslands in Rio Grande, Argentina and Uruguay. And better vegetation, although I imagine it's hard to add south american vegetation to the game (but I'd pay a lot of money to see actual Araucaria forests)
But I REALLY love this mod since it's the only videogame I've ever seen that puts the region I was born in focus. Thank you dude. If you need any help, I offer myself to help you after I graduate in December.
Hi! Thx for your contribution and support!
About balance: I need more opinions to check this. The troops are balanced for levels and factions. And I wanted to mark the differences between an irregular troop and regular soldiers.
Outlaws are weak because people said before that they were too strong. So I nerf them a little bit.
About troop diversity: That is a hard thing to do, I don´t know much about scripting. The actual recruitment system was made for a superb scripter, but he is with another proyects right know. Anyway it´s a cool idea for the future.
The deers and boards bug it´s solved. In the next update you will not have that problem.
Faction report screen: It´s a translation missing problem. Like you can see, a LOT of text has not been translated or adapted in to context. It´s a beta version, translation to 100% it´s planned to be at full release.
Terrains, the battle scenes are created randomly by the game based on the terrain texture that you are fighting. If you enter to a custom scene you will not see pines.
Anyway, we have to change those random scenes to custom made ones to fit the context.
Thx again for your support and help to improve.
Cheers!
