Radio is abnormally loud?

I'm using the radio with earbuds and no matter how lower I set the volume to, zombies are almost always alerted of my presence, which kinda defeats the point of carrying it around.

Also, the sound the radio makes when you turn it on/off via the UI icon might be a bit loud too ^^
