as a straight male, i must admit i havent played as gay characters often, and if i did it was just to marry claimants for the female achievements, but, if they say they are not eligible to wed, then it might be because they are already wed, but the normal court ladies not being interested sounds weird. you might have to play around with the sexism settings. but again i havent really tried, so it may or may not just be a bug, or some fault in that one games files.

Uh, guys any updates on this? Can I marry a chick with female queen?

I am straight dude but I always play females in my games, and since wife has quite a lot of functions here (feasts!!) I wanted to court a lady in a wicked lesbo romance. If I am the queen, I figure I can do whatever the f*** I want, right.

Err no dude, when you ask a lord to "cement the alliance", you offer him to be your butch lol.
To woo a lady as a chick, you gotta first do stuff with her (proclaim as admirer, etc etc). Asking her father later for permission to marry.
And honestly I have no idea how this will go with Arwa, considering she is the queen in her own right?

I did it in my current gameplay. (Im straight but why the hell we are stating this?)
I dont know if its my luck or not. Started as a Rodok Noble Lady. First day in Jelkala won the tournaments. And told a random lady in the keep that I dedicate my glory in the tournaments to her then I said I do admire her. Our relationship went up to 16-17 or something I dont remember
A couple days later she calls me and with 2 poems only I've got our relation ship over 20. So I've asked if we could have a future together she said my father wouldnt allow us to marry.
At that point you have an option to persuade her to elope together (as you may now) I did it and it worked somehow.

Also there is an option to get your wife as a companion in your party in Diplomacy mod. Of course you can always tell her to go back to court I did that too. Levelled her up as much as possible then asked her if she wants a fief. So she became the second fighting/warring/castle sieging/willage razing queen of our kingdom.

And yes you cannot tell her to go back to court after you grant her any fief. Because after becoming a lady with a fief she just acts like one of your noble companions that you've granted fief. But yes you keep the marriage and relationship.

I doesnt matter if your character is a male or female you can always get your wife as a companion.

You can easily test it out if you can make your wife a ''Warlord'' with cheats in the game.
Just choose youself a lady and go ahead talk to her with the cheat option ''Like me'' get your relationship over 50 this way.(I usually max it) You have to wait till she calls you. Whenever you see her again ask her to marry. She will say my father bla bla bla... But if you have persuation ability over 5 you can persuade her to elope together. You know you're just testing if it works. So you better max your stats via export/import txt files in the game.
Also she may not marry you if you dont have any castle or town.
As you may know with cheats allowed you can insta-conquer any town/castle and insta-peace out any faction in the game.

I know its too much things to do just to be able to see if you can make your wife one of your lords But if it works that way so you can do it with ironman mode.

Also some mods allow you to customize your companions.
With Perisno mod you also have the Diplomacy so I did the same.
Get möy wife as a companion then changed her look stats name... And found an empire.
Im not sure if it works the same with Diplomacy mod only.

Get the mike pence mod, it'll fix all your issues.
