Weird Companion Bug
In short, I probably sent Katrin on a gathering support mission sometime early game. She came back as usual, and I didn't notice anything out of the order.

However, now I'm at day 800+ and found in companion report that she is allegedly still on that mission with "whereabouts unknown" description, while in my party.
I can send other companions on that mission normally, but the problem is that now there is no "I'd like to ask you something" dialogue option with Katrin.

While this bug doesn't appear to be game braking, it bothers me a little, and I would appreciate any useful information.

Having the same issue. It also makes the "I have a job I'd like for you to handle" option go nowhere on other companions, as they are waiting for the "missing" one to come back. Getting rid of the problematic companion and recruiting them back does not appear to help. Perhaps a potential fix using the save editor?

Perhaps of note, this was on a native save ported to diplomacy. Was this the case for you?

Yes, I also tried to get rid of the companion and recruit her back with no success. Tried to use save editor as well, but couldn't solve the problem that way either. Although that doesn't mean it's not solvable with save editor. Since I couldn't find someone with the same problem, best I could do is to experiment with the program.

And yes, mine was ported from native to diplomacy too.
