Fighting Lords I've already converted to my Rebel faction.
So I started a rebellion against the Khante, and when I was converting Lords to my side, whenever I was successful in converting them to my cause, the game would still put me to fight AGAINST them. The options would be the usual "Charge", "Order your men to fight without you" and the "Surrender" options. This problem needs to be fixed. If anyone knows how to fix it, leave a comment on this discussion and/or message me.

I never get that option to just leave. I guess when they are hostile it says "surrender".

multiple people have reported this problem right here on this forums. Looks like it isn't getting fixed any time soon.

I have found a temporary workaround

go to modules, Diplomacy, conversation.txt and look up 'momentous'. Change it from this:

dlga_lord_recruit_pledge_conclude:close_window 4095 716 0 Now..._It_is_a_momentous_step_I_have_taken._I_will_take_my_leave,_as_I_may_need_some_time_prepare_myself_for_what_comes_next. 6 0 NO_VOICEOVER

to this:
dlga_lord_recruit_pledge_conclude:close_window 4095 716 0 Now..._It_is_a_momentous_step_I_have_taken._I_will_take_my_leave,_as_I_may_need_some_time_prepare_myself_for_what_comes_next. 646 0 NO_VOICEOVER

This will allow you to leave the conversation without HAVING to fight the -now friendly- lord.
