Suggestions
So after I decided to try and make a complete "legit go" at this map. So I started my little Role Playing Log discussion. Spoiler Alert!

Anyway, One issue I have with the map as created, there's no Gold available, and if the space worm destroys everything with superconductors in it, you are up a creek. My suggestion is to either add some gold to one of the roids or create another roid that has enough gold to process and make a jump drive. OR like you did with the little miner ship, leave a wreck somewhere find-able, that has a jump drive on it or enough materials in storage to get a jump drive made.

The distances involved in this map require a jump drive (with 5x mod) for it to be fun.

If I did the math correctly it's going to take me about 24 and 1/2 hours to get from Lost Hope to about the center of the map. (250m/s speed mod)

You can disassemble the Ion thrusters components for more gold.

Depends on how many blocks the "space worm" destroys before you can disable it, then how much you can salvage off it.

Yeah, you basically need to defeat the Void Spitter (that's the name of the space worm) to obtain components from ion thrusters and fix jump drive.

I've warned, the Lost Hope start isn't easy. :)

I ended up with 3 J-drives, and almost could have done a 4th. I will admit I cut its tail off first.

Hoping come across something sooner than the 50K waypoint even with 3 drives.
Didn't realise it was going to be such a jump and did a fair bit of mining locally 1st. Only getting 680km per drive:)

The 5x jump drive distance mod is pretty much required, though just to prove a point I've let my little ship drift thru the system at 250 m/s headed for the planets since about 3 days ago, I even left the game run overnight one night. Want to see how long this really ends up taking given that I also have RL to deal with so the game cannot stay running the whole time.

These are the mods I highly recommend to use:

Midspace's Configurable Max Ship Speed Mod[http//%26quot%3Bhttps] to increase max speed of ships. Distances in this world are much bigger than in vanilla.

Large Jump Drive - 5x Distance[http//%26quot%3Bhttps] will be useful because of the large distances too, especialy if you plan to travel to/from Lost Hope.

Go ahead, you can make the IO version of it. Just keep the original planets and locations please.

@skyluka You should ask planet creators for the compatibility version. I don't know how to make planet mods.

Could you provide coordinates for all the locations? It would be a lot easier to make a custom start or event just to know where to go when wanting to explore the map.
