how to open the files and where would they be for this addon
i want to replace the croft locker with one of my one name.

You use gmadextractor, extract the contents (preferably to common/GarrysMod/garrysmod/addons), and replace materials/lilyhl1/c1a3_names_lara.vtf

Alternatively I could just do it for you if you tell me the name you want
