Mechanism Details
------------------------------ Race Details --------------------------------

Every race has its unique upgrade path based on lore, unit description, and functionality.
AI also upgrade, though very occasionally.

-- Bretonnia:
A lore accurate path to Grail Knight plus a separate peasant path to squire.

-- Empire, Cathay, Kislev:
From humble beginning to the most elite units, men have infinite possibilities. For empire, the provincial units are included in the RoR submod not the main mod.

-- High-Elf, Wood-Elf, Dark-Elf:
Most units except females (handmaiden) and born elite (black-guard).

-- Dwarf:
All units included with full access to all artillery upgrade.

-- Greenskins:
Orcs, goblin, spider, trolls, and waaagh versions.

-- Ogre:
All units included. Use "Warband upgrade cross-race" submod for other races to upgrade ogre mercenary.

-- Lizard:
All units, including blessed unit at rank 9.

-- Vampire Count, Vampire Coast, Tomb Kings:
Skeleton, zombies -- I am in love of them because the lack of upgrade choices :-)

-- Chaos Dwarf, Norsca:
All units included. With warband cross-race submod, some of their units can be upgraded into other races' unit.

-- Beastmen, Skaven:
The end time is coming!

-- Chaos Undivided and Each Mono-god:
Un-touched in this mod, which means they get same upgrade path as WoC.

------------------------------ Mechanism Details --------------------------------

-- All upgrades have rank and money requirement, no tech requirement.

-- All units can still be recruited from buildings.

-- The upgrade does not consider unit cap.

-- Not all upgrades are strictly better, as CA's unit design does not always abide WH lore. So pay attention to unit stat and attributes.

-- Upgrade unit removes unit augmentation from race mechanism (scrap of greenskin, fresh lab of skaven).

--The upgraded unit keep a portion of the ranks. The required upgrade rank is carefully tuned based on unit availability via building, the unit types (higher on missile and cav and lower on infantry), unit strength, and lore factors.

This mod would not be possible without CA implementing the warband system, which is the most immersive unit system to-date.

Huge appreciations to the makers of RPFM tool. The most amazing mod tool ever for any game.

Big thanks to all of you for the feedback and supports. It helped greatly on various races, especially the evil ones that I don't know much about. Also, many mod authors (reaper, Lily, Puddle, Dux, Baron, goes on and on) have given me valuable suggestions, and help expanded the mod system to many submods.

This mod starts as a Bretonnia knight upgrade. Many, many obstacles were met and solved along the way. It would not have become a full-fledged mod without all the supports and feedback.
